The National Director of the Men’s Missionary Union of Nigeria, Pastor Festus Akinola says many youths are involved in internet scam and fraudulent activities as a result of erosion in the country’s cultural value system.
He therefore appealed to youths to be sincere, transparent and trustworthy in their deals.
Pastor Akinola was speaking in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, South-West Nigeria while reacting to the arrest and prosecution of social media fraudster, Ramoni Abass popularly known as Hushpuppi by the combined team of the U.S Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI and Dubai Police Force over series of scams.
Hushpuppi has been repatriated by authorities of the United Arab Emirates, UAE to the United States to face trial.
