The presidential ambition of Governor Yahaya Bello of Kogi State has received another boost, this time it is coming from Clerics For Good Governance.

The clerics, drawn from various churches in the Kano metropolis and the 44 local government areas of the state, said Governor Bello is capable of rescuing the country from insecurity and economic hardship.

The National President of Clerics Support For Good Governance, Bishop Ibrahim Iro, said they are in Kano to solicit the people’s support towards Governor Yahaya Bello’s presidential ambition.

He described Governor Bello as a detribalised man, who is ready to work with all people, irrespective of their tribe or religion.

On the rising spate of insecurity in the country, Bishop Iro said if Governor Bello is allowed to lead the country, he will ensure adequate security of lives, just as he is doing in Kogi State.

He commended the governor for resolving the crisis that led to the blockade of food supply from the North to the South.

The Bishop also called on Nigerians at all levels to work towards sustaining the unity and progress of the country.
