The Nigerian Army has emphasised the need for a collective effort to achieve its mission of winning all land battles, and defending the country’s territorial integrity and interests.
The emphasis was made by Lieutenant General Taoreed Lagbaja, Chief of Army Staff during the graduation ceremony of Course 43, 2024, at the Warrant Officers’ Academy in Jaji.
The Warrant Officers’ Academy Course 43, which commenced on January 8, comprised of 80 students.
The group included 75 warrant officers and senior non-commissioned officers of the Nigerian Army, 4 warrant officers and senior non-commissioned officers of the Nigerian Air Force, and 1 master sergeant from the Republic of Liberia.
After 22 weeks of rigorous training, covering a range of academic and field exercises, designed to enhance their capacity, and leadership skills, the graduates are now equipped to effectively interpret, and communicate command decisions.

Congratulating the graduates on their commitment and diligence, Major General Mayirenso Saraso, the General Officer Commanding One Division of the Nigerian Army, delivered the Chief of Army Staff’s address.
He urged the graduates to apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills, for the benefit of the armed forces, and to contribute to the nation’s security.
The Warrant Officers’ Academy, assured continuous improvement in its instructional curriculum, facilities and environment, to ensure mission-oriented training.
