Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, on Monday, inaugurated commercial flights from Lagos to Makurdi en route Abuja; several years after the service was suspended.
The commercial flights Operations is in partnership with the State Government and Air Peace flight.
Minister of Special Duties and Inter-governmental Affairs, Senator George Akume was one of the passengers on the inaugural flight to Abuja.

Serving and former members of the National State Assemblies as well as State Executive Council members equally graced the inauguration.
