The Commonwealth Intra Trade Export has surpassed the 700 Billion US Dollars threshold set in 2019 and is estimated to be more than one Trillion US Dollars by 2026.
Giving the analysis of intra-trade exports among Commonwealth nations during its Business Forum in Kigali, the Secretary-General, Patricia Scotland and the President of the African Development Bank, Akinwumi Adeshina, said that the combined GDP of the Commonwealth countries is now 13 Trillion US Dollars, estimated to reach 19.5 Trillion US Dollars in 2027.
