Trade Ministers from Commonwealth member countries have wrapped up a two-day meeting in London with a decision to intensify cooperation for resilient, inclusive, green, and digital economies.
The Trade Ministers exchanged views on the challenges facing the global economy and highlighted the importance of building sustainable economies for post-COVID recovery, as well as deepening collaboration to support all members, to reap better gains from international trade.

The Commonwealth Trade Ministers set up a Working Group which will focus on generating an investment plan of action, with the goal of increasing investment flow and firming up the Business-to-Business Cluster plan.
Emphasis on the need to foster a digital transition and facilitate digital trade for inclusive growth and development is also a high point of the meeting at which Nigeria had no representation.
