Bauchi State Government has imposed a twenty-four-hour curfew in the communal clash communities of Gudun Sayawa and Gudun Hausa suburb of Bauchi metropolis in Northeast Nigeria.
The development follows resurfacing of the crisis that led to the death of one person and burning of over twenty houses.


A few days after the communal clash which consumed the lives of two people and left others injured,
crisis resurfaced during the burial services organised for the people who lost their lives.
The report indicates that one person was allegedly killed, while over twenty houses, as well as properties worth millions of Naira, were set ablaze.
While sympathizing with the affected communities, Governor Bala Mohammed, said the state government will ensure that all the perpetrators are brought to book.
The Governor also directed the establishment of a Police Outpost in the area, to guarantee maximum security and sustainable peace.
Also speaking, the Commissioner of Police, Umar Sanda, assures that security personnel will intensify operations, to restore normalcy in the communities.
