At least 200 women from 16 Local Government Areas of Bauchi State on Friday benefited from Federal Government Conditional Cash Transfer Program; receiving N20,000 each.
The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq, and the Minister of Women Affairs and Child Development, Pauline Tallen, disclosed this as government flagged off disbursement of the grant in Bauchi.
The Ministers said the program will go a long way to transform the lives of the beneficiaries.

Speaking, the wife of Bauchi State Governor, Aisha Mohammed appreciated the Federal government for the timely assistance and advised the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the money.
She expressed hope that the program will be sustained to reach a wider segment of the poorest of the poor in the State.
