The Conference of state legislature speakers is set to deliberate on the ongoing amendments of the 1999 Constitution, and some issues of national concern, as they prepare to hold their First Quarter General Meeting in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Saturday, 2nd April.
In a press statement issued by the spokesman, Abdul Burra noted that all the 36 Speakers of the state Assembly are expected at the meeting, where they will deal with crucial issues bedeviling Nigeria as a Nation.
The meeting is expected to be presided over by the Chairman, Abubakar Suleiman, who is also the Speaker, of the Bauchi State House of Assembly.
The statement added that arrangements are on to ensure hitch-free deliberations, while in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
