The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, has described the first day of the continuous voter registration exercise in Edo state as commendable.
The National Commissioner Supervising Edo state Rhoda Gumus and the resident electoral commissioner in the state Anugbum Onuoha gave the commendation after monitoring some centres in Oredo and Ikpoba okha Local government areas.
But to the All Progressives Congress APC in Edo state the exercise is a sham and calls for the total cancellation of the continuous voter registration exercise which started Monday.
Uwadae disclosed this to journalists in Benin City while reacting to the exercise across the state.
The APC spokesman accused INEC officials of working with the state government to manipulate the exercise by bringing people from neighbouring states to be part of the exercise.
Uwadae and the APC state youth leader Tony Kabaka want the electoral body to discontinue the exercise
