Contractors of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, FMARD, who are being owed for work executed in 2018 have again stormed the ministry to demand the payment of their outstanding debts.
Aggrieved by the refusal of the ministry in settling the debt, the contractors blocked the major entrance to the minister’s office.
Efforts by security officiao and other personnel at the ministry to pacify the angry protesters were futile as the contractors insisted that they must get the payments for contracts they executed for the ministry since 2018.

The angry protesters insist that until they are paid, the protest will continue day after day.
