The 2018 Unpaid contractors of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development has for the 5th time stormed the ministry in protest.
The angry contractors who last week gave the ministry seven days ultimatum said it’s time for action.
Blocking the entrance to the minister’s office the angry protesters with their placards, chanting “we want our money, pay us our money” insist that they have ran out of patience, now its time for action.

Efforts by AIT to talk to the officials of the ministry on the matter was abortive, however, a letter signed on behalf of the Minister was presented to the group, asking for more time and patience.
The angry protesters who lamented the untold hardship the non-payment action by the ministry has brought to them and their dependants said this is the second year and the fifth protest in 2020 over the payment of the contract executed for the ministry of Agriculture, which amount to over 17Bn naira.
