The national chairman of the All Progressives Congress , Abdullahi Adamu has accused its the party’s Presidential Candidate Bola Tinubu of breaching agreements in the composition of the Campaign Council.

In a letter titled “release of the Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council listing”, Adamu expressed displeasure with what he described as the non-recourse to the National Working Committee for approval of the list of the Presidential Campaign Committee members.

He said the party’s National Working Committee believes that the release of the list of the campaign council was ill timed, and confounded, rather than please the members of the committee which he heads.

While calling for the withdrawal of the Presidential Campaign Council list in the interest of peace and harmony within the party, Adamu also said the release of the list by completely contravenes the principles and purpose of the arrangement between him (Abdullahi Adamu) and the party’s Presidential Candidate.

According to Adamu’s letter, an agreement was reached that the organogram and composition of the campaign council should be a collobarative effort, an agreement he says has now been breached.

The former Nasarawa State Governor warned against any form of disarray in the party which he said will undermine the spirit and ethos of the campaign and give undue alarm to faithful members and followers of the party across the country.

The party’s Presidential Campaign Council on Monday announced the indefinite postponement of campaign activities originally scheduled to begin on Wednesday.
