The minister of communication and digital economy, Isa Pantami says the reduction in the cost of data is directed at giving Nigerians equitable space in the journey towards a digital economy.
Pantami who made this known at an interaction with telecom industry players in the country, says the promotion of local content through deliberate government policies is already yielding positive gains.
