For Governor Francis Nwifuru, the country is facing worrisome security challenges, but used the occasion to re-emphasized the need for community policing, which he believes is the best intelligence gathering mechanism that can get down to the grassroots and help to nip crime and criminalities in the bud.

Military sources say the students on the Senior Course 47 tour are expected to gather facts and data in relation to the theme of their study, analyse same and present findings of their study tour to the college community.
