The trial of the former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal has been adjourned to the 14th and 16th September, 2020.
Justice Jude Okeke of the FCT High Court Maitama, adjourned the case on Monday following the prosecution counsel’s plea for time to enable him present further proof of evidence before the court
Akin Olujimi SAN, who is the counsel for the first defendant objected to the adjournment on the grounds that the prosecution had exhausted their rights for adjournment and they can’t be granted additional adjournment insisting that the adjournment will clearly demoralize the court

Justice Jude Okeke, however, adjourned the case to 14th and 16th September 2020 for trial to continue.
