Court to hear Nnamdi Kanu’s suit against FG November 2

The Abia State High court will on November 2, 2021 hear the N5 billion suit instituted by the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, against the Federal Government; and the Attorney General of the Federation Abubakar Malami as well as the Nigeria Army

Kanu had through his counsel, Aloy Ejimakor, filed the suit to enforce his Fundamental Rights which he said was violated by his alleged abduction from Kenya.

Kanu among others is asking for an order of the court to return him to Kenya where he was alleged to have been al kidnapped to Nigeria.

The matter was first assigned to a Vacation judge, Justice Okereke who later returned the suit to the Chief Judge for reassignment.
