The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has confirmed 403 new Covid-19 infections in the country. This takes the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 16,085.
The breakdown of new infections shows Gombe has 73, Lagos-68, Kano-46, Edo-36, FCT-35, Nasarawa-31, Kaduna-17 and Oyo-16.
Others are Abia-15; Delta and Borno-13 each; Plateau-8; Niger and Rivers-7 each; Enugu and Ogun-6 each; Kebbi-3; Ondo, Anambra and Imo-1 each.
There are 13 new Covid-19 fatalities in Nigeria with the death toll now 420. Meanwhile, 119 patients have been discharged in the last 24 hours as number of successfully treated cases hit 5,220
