Nigeria has now recorded a total of 709 Covid-19 deaths following 20 new fatalities in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 575 new Covid-19 infections were reported in 18 states with the total number of confirmed cases in the country now 31,323.
The 575 new Covid-19 infections were reported in Lagos-224; Oyo-85; FCT-68; Rivers-49; Kaduna-39; Edo-31; Enugu-30; Delta-11.

Others are Niger-10; Katsina-9; Ebonyi-5; Gombe and Jigawa-3 each; Plateau, Nassarawa and Borno-2 each; Kano and Abia-1.
The data from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC shows that 249 Covid-19 patients were discharged across Nigeria bringing the total number successfully treated cases to 12,795.
