The Federal Government has granted a 2-month license fee waiver for terrestrial broadcast stations in Nigeria as part of ongoing efforts to mitigate the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the media industry.
Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed who announced this at a meeting with members of the Broadcasting Organizations of Nigeria, BON also announced the setting up of a committee of industry stakeholders to advise Government on how best to support the industry in the face of the current pandemic
