The Federal Government has delivered one hundred and nine trailer loads of food items to the Niger state government for distribution to needy persons across the state.
The food items which include, fifty articulated truck commonly known as trailer load of maize, fifty two containing guinea corn and six with millet where presented by the Director General of the National Emergency Agency, NEMA, retired Air Vice Marshal Muhammadu Muhammad, who spoke on the Federal government’s commitment to alleviating the food needs of the citizenry.
Niger State Deputy Governor Ahmad Ketso expressed appreciation to the federal authorities and pledged an urgent and fair distribution of the food items.

Sixty four thousand, seven hundred and sixty four households across Niger State.have earmarked to benefit from the food items.
It is in compliance of the directive of President Muhammadu Buhari, as part of efforts to provide relief for those in need.
