Covid-19: NCDC Confirms 477 New Cases

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 477 new cases of COVID-19

The Nation’s Commercial hub, Lagos recorded 113 new infections while Rivers reported 79 cases.

FCT and Kaduna witnessed 68 cases each while Delta recorded 37, Abia 36, Oyo 16, and Benue 12 Akwa Ibom and Plateau had 9 new infections each.

Cross River 7, Edo, and Ekiti recorded 6 each, while Katsina had 4, Jigawa 3, Bayelsa 2, Ogun and Yobe recorded 1 case each.

Going by statistics, Nigeria has recorded 203,991 cases of the deadly virus so far, while 192,139 infected patients were treated and discharged Unfortunately 2,671 deaths have been reported.

Today’s report includes Confirmed cases for Kaduna on the 23rd, with 29 cases, and 24th with 39 infections, for September 2021.

The NCDC recorded Zero cases from Nasarawa, Ondo, Osun, and Sokoto States
