Covid-19: Nigeria announces 86 fresh cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 86 new cases of COVID infection.

Kaduna recorded 41 cases, Lagos 24, Osun 10 and Bauchi 6 cases. Ekiti and Ondo States recorded six infections each while Edo State has one.

The latest figure now brings confirmed cases of covid in Nigeria since the first was discovered on February 27, 2020, to 212,713 while 204,379 persons have been treated and discharged 2,906 fatalities have also been recorded during the period.
