Plateau State has joined the list of states that have recieved the Oxford Astrazeneca Covid-19 Vaccines from the Federal government.
The Vaccines arrived the state through the Yakubu Gowon Airport and was Immediately moved to the cold room at the Joseph Gomwalk Secretariat in Jos.
There was a sigh of relief on the Plateau, as Secretary to the State Government Danladi Atu, said the State has taken delivery of one hundred and five thousand six hundred Oxford Astrazeneca Covide19 vaccines from the federal government.

Plateau State Health Commissioner Lar Ndam, said the next line of action was to ensure that Frontline workers and others directly involved in the fight against the pandemic will immediately be Vaccinated.
Although the Government is yet to give a specific date for the commencement of the vaccination exercise, but has assured citizens of the state that the exercise will soon kick off to save the people from the ravaging virus.
