Many private schools in Jalingo, the Taraba state capital have resumed, with measures put in place, in line with Covid-19 safety guidelines.
This is following the directive by the Federal government on the reopening of schools for exit classes.
AIT visited some of the schools to see how students and staff are putting up with the Covid-19 guidelines.
Most private Secondary and Primary schools have resumed academic activities in Taraba State.
Private schools are among the first to comply with the Federal Government directives on Covid -19 protocols for exit classes, and so much have changed for the teachers and students alike.
They include hand washing and disinfection points, as well as the use of protective equipment such as face masks and shields.
Most of the students and staff say they are excited to return to school after over three months of closure, as a result of the Covid-19 disease.

However, some government schools have resumed but are yet to start full academic activities.
Some of the staff who spoke off camera say, they are yet to put in place the needed precautionary measures to commence full activities for the exit classes.
