Covid-19:NCDC confirms 444 new cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC has confirmed 444 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria, In it’s latest release,Edo State has 71 new infections, Akwa Ibom, Kwara, and Oyo all have 49 new cases Rivers State has 38 while Kaduna recorded 21 new cases.

Ekiti State has 20, FCT and Kastina recorded 19, Anambra 17 while Delta has 16, Kano recorded 16 new infections. Bauchi with 14 cases,
Ogun 11, Bayelsa and Benue State have 9 cases respectively

Cross River State recorded 7 new cases While Nasarawa has 5 Jigawa and Zamfara have 2 cases each, while Enugu recorded the least with just one infection

The NCDC also revealed that it has so far recorded a total of 194,088 confirmed cases with 179,679 discharged and
2,495 recorded deaths

Today’s report includes: Backlog of 19 cases reported for Kastina State from 2nd (16), and 3 for September 3rd, 2021

Three States reported zero cases, they are Ondo, Osun, and Sokoto.
