The Abia State Police Command has recorded another breakthrough in crime fighting with the arrest of 45 suspects in the state.
Parading the suspects in Umuahia, the Commissioner of Police, Janet Agbede, reiterated her Command’s determination to encourage community policing which she believes will go a long way in reducing crime in the state.
Prominent among the suspects paraded was a suspected child trafficker, Ihechi Ogbonna, who stole two children from their home in Olokoro, in Umuahia South Local Government Area, but was intercepted by some youths of the community.

The Police Commissioner also paraded suspected armed robbers, hired assassins, kidnappers, cultists, while items recovered from the suspects include phones, guns, cartridge among others.
