President Muhammadu Buhari has called on Nigerians especially the elite to be fair in their criticism of his administration.

Buhari made the appeal onThursday in Abuja when he received Reverend Yakubu Pam, the Executive Secretary of the Nigeria Christian Pilgrims Commission,
President Buhari said that those criticising his administration should be fair in terms of reflecting on where the country was before he assumed office and where the nation is now, especially what has been achieved with limited available resources.

On the security situation especially in the Northeast, the President said that the situation is better now than when he assumed office in 2015.

According to a statement released by his special adviser on media and publicity Femi Adesina, Buhari told his host his government is doing its best and expressed the hope that eventually it will be good enough.
