The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State has successfully concluded its Wards and Local Government Areas congresses.
The exercise was held in all 196 political Wards and 18 Local Government Areas of the State.
Party leaders described the exercise as peaceful, orderly, and among the best conducted in recent times, reflecting unity and discipline among members.
Chairman of the five-man APC Ward and Local Government Congresses Monitoring Committee, Samuel Yarnap, said the congresses, held between February 18 and 21, were transparent, well coordinated, and free from violence or disruption.
The monitoring teams which observed proceedings in selected Wards and Local Government Areas, confirmed what it said were full compliance with Party guidelines.

The APC ward and local government congresses in Cross River State successfully held across 196 wards and 18 local government areas.
Chairman of the Monitoring Committee, Samuel Yarnap, praised party members for demonstrating discipline and a shared sense of purpose, describing the exercise as a model of transparency and unity.
Governor Otu, who monitored parts of the exercise, described the congresses as smooth and peaceful, emphasizing that the unity displayed by party members reflected their collective commitment to both State and national objectives.
Party leaders note that with the successful conclusion of the Ward and Local Government congresses, the APC in Cross River State has demonstrated a standard of peaceful, transparent, and well-coordinated internal elections.
