Cross River: Gov. Ayade relaxes curfew in Calabar

Four hours after imposing a dusk to dusk curfew as a result of insecurity in Calabar, Governor Ben Ayade has directed that the measure be relaxed.

Ayade in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Christian Ita, said the decision followed a review of the security situation in the State.

Ayade said effective from Tuesday, October 27, 2020, the curfew imposed in the State will now be between the hours of 4pm and 8am daily and that , restriction of movement is hereby relaxed within the period.
