Cross River State Governor, Bassey Etu

Cross River State Governor Bassey Otu says he remains committed to delivering inclusive development across the state and his home local government area, Odukpani, will not be left out.

The governor gave the assurance during an event held in the Odukpani local government area, where his people stated that his two years in office have brought visible progress to the area and the state at large.

Governor Otu, represented by his Chief of Staff, Emmanuel Ironbar, described the event as a validation of his administration’s commitment to rebuilding the state from a severely deteriorated state, promising that even more developmental projects would be delivered across the state.

The Chairman of Odukpani Local Government Area, Ukpong Asido, who led the people in appreciating the governor, highlighted his achievements in Odukpani, including the rehabilitation of key access roads, which have opened up the area to economic activities and improved connectivity.

Stakeholders also commended the governor for attracting federal government projects such as the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway and the Special Agro-Industrial Processing Zone, both of which are expected to transform the state’s economic landscape.
