The Cross River State Government has promised to employ five hundred creative artistes within twelve months after exposing them to different trainings and skills.
The state Commissioner for Sports and Cinematography, Offu Aya made this known during a talent hunt training program held at the U.J Esuene Stadium in Calabar.
The Commissioner said the state government will continue to hunt and train its creative and talented citizens every year as a way of exposing them to professional exhibitions within and outside the country.

Godswill Edward and Queen Tacha are amongst the trainers, they said the programme is aimed at discouraging the youths from indulging in social vices and help them discover hidden talent.
The youths were exposed creative arts like dancing, cinematography, Art and signs writing as well as music and stage acting.
