Outgoing Governor of Cross River State, Prof. Ben Ayade says he is handing over the state to a competent hand in the person of Bassey Otu, ,who he said will do better than he did as Governor of the state.
Ayade Stated this during the interdenominational service at the Catholic Church of Nigeria, St. L’wanga Parish,Calabar, to usher In the New Government.

The Governor who was joined by his Deputy, Prof Ivara Esu and members of his cabinet, explained that his greatest achievement despite his numerous projects was to return power to Southern Cross River inline with the rotational arrangement.
In his homily, the Catholic Priest, Reverend Father Bob Etta , Governor Ayade has brought peace and stability to Cross River State.
The church Service was part of the inauguration programme for the New Government scheduled to hold at the U.J Esuene Sports Stadium this Monday.
