The Cross River State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, has called on the security agencies to re-strategize their effort so as to nip the increasing spate of kidnapping in the bud.
The State Chairman of NUJ, Victor Udu, stated this when he led members of the union to visit the family of the Sun Newspaper’s correspondent, Judex Okoro, whose wife was kidnapped last night.
The husband of the kidnapped victim appealed to the security personnel to help release his wife unhurt.
