Cross River State Government has demanded for the delineation of Bakassi constituency as well as creation of more political wards and Polling Units in the state.
Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Asu Okang made the demands when he received the newly deployed INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner, Emmanuel Hart in his office.
Asu Okang said the demand if met, will help address the issue of voters apathy caused largely by long distance journey to some of the ward headquarters in the state.
The Resident Electoral Commissioner, Emmanuel Hart assured that his complains would be channel to the Commission’s headquarters in Abuja.

The New REC was deployed to Cross River State from Edo state where he conducted the last 2019 General Elections.
