With cocoa, coffee, and oil palm at the heart of Cross River State economy, the state government has rolled out a seven-year strategic plan to boost production, attract investment, and create wealth for farmers.
During an event held in Calabar, industry leaders validated the strategic plan aimed at boosting productivity, strengthening value chains and increasing revenue for both farmers and the state.
The State Commissioner for Agriculture and Irrigation Development, Johnson Ebokpo, described the plan as a game changer that will drive sustainable growth and economic expansion.
