A Cross River state born and former commandant of the Armed Forces Command and Staff College, Air Vice Marshall (AVM) Eko Osim rtd is dead.
According to a family source, AVM Osim passed away in the late hours of Sunday in an Indian hospital for surgery.
A native of Abi Local Government Area of Cross River State, AVM Osim was promoted to a two star general rank in the Nigerian Air Force in December 2010.
Osim was the Senior Staff Officer at the Logistics Command, Lagos State and also served as the Chairman, Board of Directors of the Aeronautical Engineering and Technical Services Limited in 2012.
He was the Chief of Aircraft Engineering at the Nigerian Air Force Headquarters in Abuja before he was posted to Jaji.

The late Osim served as Commandant until January 2014 when he retired during President Goodluck Jonathan administration
