CSO Awards Late Raymond Aleogho Dokpesi, Highlights Role In Promoting Democracy

A civil society organization – Democracy Heroes has honoured the late founder of DAAR Communications Plc, Raymond Dokpesi with a post-humous lifetime time achievement in media award.

The award was presented to the chairman of the media conglomerate at the company’s corporate headquarters in Abuja on Tuesday

President of the organization, which is also behind the annual Democracy Heroes Awards Africa Olufunsho Ajagbonna says the late Dokpesi left an indelible mark in the media industry.

Peter Dokpesi who represented the chairman of DAAR Communications acknowledged the accolade, describing his late father as a man who devoted his life to giving a voice to the masses

The Organisers of Democracy Heroes Award Africa say the outstanding role of Dokpesi in promoting democracy through the media will never be forgotten.
