Drawing lessons from the Covid19 pandemic, civil society organizations in Kano have stressed the need for preparedness for epidemics and response plans to mitigate catastrophic outbreaks of diseases in the country.

This came at a parley between the media and the civil society organizations, with the aim of raising the accountability bar in public health security and financing.
