The authorities in Nigeria will have to make deliberate efforts to build partnerships with civil society organizations for sustainable operational space for the non-profit sector in the country.
Some resource persons said this during an event in Awka the Anambra State Capital aimed at improving regulatory environment for CSO operations in the country.

The resource persons noted that Civil Society Organizations are both watchdogs and valuable partners committed to principles of democracy, justice and the overall development of any nation.
The conference also sought better ways for relevant regulatory agencies to deepen collaboration with the non-profit sector with a view to achieving a sustainable and more Prosperous Nigeria.
