Spokesperson of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) and House of Representatives member-elect for Ideato North/South Federal Constituency of Imo State, Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere, has expressed sadness over the death of the founder of Daar Communications Plc, High Chief Raymond Aleogho Dopkesi.
In a statement released on Monday, Ugochinyere described High Chief Dopkesi as a patriotic Nigerian, courageous democratic fighter, advocate and soldier of free speech who would be missed.
Ugochinyere said he received the news about the death of the media magnate with shock, saying that he has left a vacuum in the Nigerian media industry.

While noting that the opposition in Nigeria will lower their flags in his honour, Ugochinyere sent his heartfelt condolences to his family, the management of Daar Communications Plc, people and government of Edo State, especially the people of Weppa-Wanno Kingdom of the State.
