Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has ordered the state ministry of justice to review the law on kidnapping for ransom with a view to imposing the death penalty instead of jail term for offenders.
The governor gave the directive while inaugurating the commission of inquiry into missing persons in the state from 2010 to 2019.
