Nigeria’s Defence Industries Corporation has said it is projecting a turnout of about 6 million rounds of ammunition as well as other military equipment that will help to shape the battle environment for the Nigerian Armed Forces in 2021.
The Director General, Major General Victor Ezugwu gave the hint at a three day retreat for top management of the corporation in Kaduna.
With the changing space in global warfare, and the need for higher creativity in the production of military equipment for the Nigerian Armed Forces, the retreat for top management was aimed at repositioning the defence corporation.
It is also to meet with the Presidential Executive Order, to through innovation and local content application enhance arms production for the Nigerian Armed Forces.

A consensus among various speakers was that Nigeria can effectively tackle its current security situation through strategic planning and technological innovations.
With support from the Federal Government as well as the military high command, Major General Victor Ezugwu, is convinced that the Defence Corporation will play its role in bringing to an end, the fight against insurgency in the country.
