The Operation Thunder Strike from the Defence Headquarters of the Nigeria Army, has assured road users plying the Kaduna-Abuja highway of their safety.
The commander of the operation Colonel Ibrahim Gambari, gave the assurance during a fact finding tour of the highway following reports of bandit
attacks.
The tour by the security agencies which also involved the Kaduna state commissioner for internal security, took them to several flashpoints on the highway to allay fears and build confidence of road users.
The operation thunder strike commander blamed mischief-makers for creating such panic, and warned peddlers of false information to desist, or face the full wrath of the law.
