Defence Minister Badaru Orders Troops To Capture Bandits’ Leader Bello Turji

The Nigerian Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru, has urged the troops of Theatre Operation, Fansar Yamma to capture the notorious terrorists’ leader Bello Turji and to end the insecurity bedevilling the Northwest zone and the Country at large.

The Minister made the call during his visit to the troops in Gusau, the Zamfara State capital, where he told them President Bola Tinubu has been following their activities and he wants the troops to redouble their efforts at ending the Security challenges in the region.

The Minister of Defence Abubakar Badaru stormed Zamfara State through the road and stopped over in some hotbeds of the activities of the terrorists along the Ever-busy Gusau- Funtua Highway to assess the security challenges and boost the troops’ Morales to provide security by flushing the terrorists out of the Northwest.

He revealed that President Bola Tinubu appreciated the efforts of the troops to ensure improvement in the security situation but there are still more challenges which he wants them to face to end the menace of Banditry in their areas of operation and Nigeria as a whole.

Badaru disclosed that the President is ready to provide the troops all the needed support to end the insecurity in the Northwest and Nigeria.

He added that President Bola Tinubu’s concern is to bring the insecurity bedevilling the Northwest and other troubled parts of Nigeria to an end to restore peace and normalcy.

The Defence Minister said with the reassurances he received from the commander of the Theatre operation Fansar Yamma, Major General Oluyinka Soyele, the troops would end the insecurity as quickly as possible

The Defence Minister says one of the challenges confronting the fight against insecurity in Zamfara and other parts of the Northwest is the collaboration of the locals with terrorists and giving them information about their victims.
