Delta state governor, Sheriff Oborevwori has called for deeper collaboration between government, the police and other security agencies to strengthen and improve intelligence gathering.
The governor stated this on Wednesday when he received the newly deployed commissioner of police, CP Samuel Erale, who paid him a courtesy visit at government house Asaba.
Receiving the new police chief, CP Samuel Erale and his entourage at the government house, governor Oborevwori, assured them of his administration’s commitment for a safer and prosperous Delta state.

The governor also tasked CP Erale to sustain an intelligence led approach to community based policing with stronger surveillance.
