A notorious kidnapng kingpin, Abubakar Hassan, who hails from Niger state but resides in Woji area of Port Harcourt, Rivers state, has been arrested by operatives of the Delta state police command.
The 30 year old suspected leader of a kidnapping and armed robbery syndicate operating across Delta, Rivers, Imo and Enugu states was arrested at the Ughelli-Ozoro axis following credible intelligence
After interrogation, the suspect led a team of policemen to a forest at Ozoro, Isoko North local government area of Delta state where 2 AK-47 rifles, 32 rounds of live ammunition and 4 AK-47 rifle magazines were recovered.

Police spokesman Bright Edafe said the command has intensified its hunt for other gang members in the state and the possible recovery of more arms.
