Delta Police command arrest fake soldiers, recover military account raiments

The Delta State Police Command has arrested two fake soldiers in possession of military account raiments.

The Command Public Relations Officer, DSP Edafe Bright confirmed it in a statement on Friday.

According to the statement, the two fake soldiers one a female Jemila Suleiman, a native of Plateau State and the other a male, Charles Monagor, who is from Delta state, were arrested while lodging at Beji court hotel in Effurun, Warri wearing the military uniform.

A search operation was carried out in their room and items recovered include, 10 pairs of military camouflage uniforms, 6 T-shirts, jungle caps, some singlets all of military camouflage.

During the interrogation, the lady confessed that she bought the said military account raiments to earn a living.

The command also arrested some suspected cultists in Warri axis.

Items recovered from them included blood stained cutlass and blood stained towel.

The Police Command however assured Delta residents of its determination to protect lives and property.
