Two suspected kidnappers have been arrested by police detectives attached to Ozoro divisional command in Isoko North local government area of Delta state after rescuing a kidnap victim.
The suspects were apprehended by policemen on a stop-and-search operation who acted on intelligence signals.
After abandoning the victim in the trunk of their car, the suspects got out of their vehicle and fired gunshots, while escaping into a nearby bush.

The police operatives ran after them and successfully neutralized two of the suspects, while three others escaped with gunshot wounds.
Items recovered include one double-barrel gun and a red Toyota Corolla motor vehicle.
The police command in a statement called on Delta state residents to be vigilant and report suspicious happenings around their environment.
