Delta State Governor, senator Ifeanyi Okowa has announced new restrictions that will have the entire State lockdown from Wednesday next week.
This restrictions which include closure of markets and motor parks are contained in the Governor’s third broadcast to the people of Delta State since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.
Residents of the State are to stay at home from wednesday, 1st april including food sellers who are ordered to do their businesses within the confines of their homes.
Meanwhile, Governor Okowa announced the closure of the Asaba airport with effect from Friday, march 27 by 6pm.
The Governor further advised the people to prepare to adjust to the new order as the rules he said were meant for their collective good,
